Krishnă Avatăr

 

Krishna is the eight incarnation of Vishnu. Some sects consider Balarăma , the elder brother of Krishna as also an incarnation in place of Buddha. Buddha was added later.

Krishnă shows all the aspects of of human development usually associated with childhood, adolescence, adulthood, etc. It is this almost universal appeal that is responsible for his wide popularity and the deep impression he has made on Indian Life. The most popular stories are about his skill as a flute player, conquering the hearts of milkmaids of Gokul, the Kăliyădaman, Krishnă as a boy stealing the butter ball, the lifting of Govardhana mountain and ofcourse his great role in giving the advice in the form of “Bhagvata Gită.
